Interior noise levels, when the SUV is not under hard acceleration, are at or near best-in-class, and interior fit and finish is within the standards of this segment. The Equinox starts with the base L model in rental-car territory with few features, and transitions from plain, sturdy cloth seats in LS and LT trims to perforated leather seating surfaces, automatic climate control, and other niceties in the Premier.
